As a child, Kevin bound himself to an oath that one day he would become the "Overlord of All Media." This ambitious and carefully-crafted plan included showing little interest in "the movie business" while growing up in Southern California, going to Oklahoma to get a finance degree, and moving to Virginia to pursue a career in tech and security consulting. This ten-year stint in serial entrepreneurship netted great results and valuable business experience. It was then time for the next calculated move in the master plan: moving back to Oklahoma and waiting for "it" to happen. A chance encounter with Mark Steele, an old college friend, was "it." All the pieces fell into place and the obvious decision was made: "You are creative and I am a business guy, so let's go into business together and do something related to creative media production." This idea was bound to succeed since Kevin had no experience in the industry at all and the venture was headquartered in the very hotbed of media production activity: Tulsa, Oklahoma.
That was 1999. Needless to say, the plan worked exactly as Kevin predicted. As the Executive Producer of Steelehouse, he has been busy sharpening his skills in the art and science of producing ever since. He fell in love with production right from the start and he never wants to do anything else ever again. Kevin has produced over a hundred short films and projects for major organizations in live performance, live action and animation. Most recently, his focus has been on IP creative development and sourcing existing material for live-action feature films for a media partner anxious to fund new projects.- Art Department
